The offshore supply vessel (OSV) Glomar Venture, owned by Glomar Offshore, was involved in a serious maritime incident on April 20th, striking the base of an offshore wind turbine approximately 15 nautical miles off the coast of Callantsoog in the Dutch North Sea.

Gas reserves estimate goes up at Shell’s Selene prospect

Shell has found ‘significantly better’ porosity and permeability properties at its Selene gas prospect in the North Sea, following the analysis of the data from the 2024 well, prompting partner Deltic Energy to raise its estimate of recoverable gas reserves by 33%.
