The Culzean Wind Pilot will be connected to the Culzean platform, an offshore oil and gas facility 230 kilometres off the East coast of Scotland and will provide renewable electricity to supplement the existing power generation from gas turbines.

Wind Energy – Turbine Installation Platform

On Aug. 28, the Gang Hang Ping 5, a self-propelled and jack-up offshore wind turbine installation platform with China’s highest elevation height, strongest comprehensive lifting capacity and the longest pile leg, was successfully delivered in east China’s port city Qingdao.
