Prysmian signs strategic agreement with Statnett

Prysmian has been awarded a four-year agreement, plus two optional two-years extension periods, for the supply of Extra High Voltage underground cable systems from Statnett, the Transmission System Operator in Norway and a key player within North Europe’s power system.

Germany’s energy independence from Moscow is crucial and it is not in talks with Russia over a ‘possible pipeline-based supply of Russian gas’ via the partly damaged Nord Stream 2 pipeline, the economy ministry said on Monday to Reuters.
