CIP has signed an agreement with Vietnamese state-owned energy group PETROVIETNAM to develop USD 4bn offshore wind project in Vietnam

The agreement was signed during Vietnam’s state visit to Denmark earlier this month. CIP confirms that during the visit, it took part in meetings with Vietnamese authorities and companies about developing offshore wind in Vietnam.

According to CIP Vietnam has significant potential for offshore wind, calling the Southeast Asian country an interesting market for long-term investments in offshore wind.
