Norwegian contractor Aker Solutions has appointed Paal Eikeseth as its new president and chief executive, with immediate effect.
He succeeds Kjetel Digre, who has decided to step down after six years as chief executive.
Digre’s tenure saw Aker Solutions shift to a broader energy services scope while improving profitability and significantly increasing shareholder value, noted the company.
