Trump claims wind industry consists only of losers

Wind Energy – Politics

U.S. President Donald Trump once again lashed out at wind energy during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

“They are all losers,” Trump claimed. “Every time a wind turbine makes a turn, you lose a thousand dollars.”

“There are wind turbines all over Europe, both onshore and offshore. The more turbines a country has, the more money it loses,” Trump continued. He criticized the policies of countries such as the United Kingdom, which, according to him, do not allow drilling for oil and gas in the ‘great’ North Sea.

How dangerous is this unreliable man in the White House really for the international wind energy business?
