KOWEPO teams up with RWE for 495 MW OWF project in South Korea

On November 14, Korea Western Power (KOWEPO) and RWE Offshore Wind signed a MoU to develop the 495 MW Taean Seohae Offshore Wind Farm Project jointly.

The wind farm is planned to be built about 45 kilometers off the coast of Taean, South Korea.

Before this, in March, RWE successfully secured an Electricity Business License (EBL) for the project, the German energy company’s first EBL in South Korea.

SBM Offshore awarded contracts for the GranMorgu field development

SBM Offshore has been awarded contracts for the GranMorgu field development project located in Block 58 in Suriname by the Operator, TotalEnergies EP Suriname.

bp and SOCAR sign MOU on two blocks in Caspian Sea

On September 20 bp and SOCAR (The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Baku announcing bp’s intention to join agreements on two exploration and development blocks in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.
