Vineyard Wind, an affiliate of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, confirmed in a brief statement that it is shelving the proposed Vineyard Wind 2 project in response to Connecticut’s decision not to award wind projects after the recent New England tri-state solicitation.

US orders stop to Vineyard Wind construction due to turbine break

Wind Energy – Blade Failure Vineyard Wind

The US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement has ordered Vineyard Wind to stop power production and construction until an investigation determines whether a blade failure affects other turbines, it said on Wednesday.
