Israel awards gas exploration licences to Eni, BP and four others

Israel’s Energy Ministry said on Sunday it had awarded 12 licences to six companies to explore for natural gas off the country’s Mediterranean coast, aiming to create more competition and diversify suppliers.

Equinor signs new gas supply agreement with RWE

RWE and Equinor have signed a new supply contract for between 10 and 15 terrawatt hours (equivalent to ca. 1 – 1.5 billion cubic metrers – bcm) of natural gas per year from now until 2028.
