Aker Solutions has received a letter of award from PTSC M&C for detail design work related to the redevelopment of the Maydan Mahzam oil field offshore Qatar.

The operator QatarEnergy is planning a major redevelopment to upgrade the facilities and extend the operational life of the field.
Aker’s engineering teams in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Mumbai, India, will deliver detailed design for several offshore installations, including three major topsides, four jackets and brownfield tie-ins.
The letter of award is subject to signing of the final contract.
