Fossil Energy

UK-based explorer Jadestone Energy has restarted its operations and production at its Cossack-Wanaea-Lambert-Hermes fields, with a similar milestone for the Stag field scheduled for next year.

With repairs carried out to one of the subsea riser J-tubes, the Okha FPSO has been reconnected to the field’s subsea infrastructure. Late last month, return to production operations and well testing were started, and since then all but one of the production wells have been returned to production.

A Stag restart is still pegged for next year after the platform was hit by cyclone Narelle in March.
