TCP Contract

Strohm has been awarded a medium-sized contract to supply four thermoplastic composite pipe jumpers for installation in an ultra-deepwater field in Southeast Asia.

The four 6.9-inch internal diameter carbon fibre PA12 jumpers, with an average length of 1000m each, will be installed in water depths exceeding 2,200m.

Procured and installed by McDermott International, the four TCP jumpers will be deployed using a vertical lay system.

TCP is lightweight, spoolable and delivered in long lengths, allowing installation using proven methods, existing industry equipment, and light or medium offshore construction vessels.
