GS Entec has signed a contract to supply 37 monopiles for a 504MW offshore wind farm off the coast of Taean, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea.

Production is scheduled to begin in July 2027, with delivery to be completed by the end of August 2028. The contract value was not disclosed.

The order comes immediately after the company invested approximately 300 billion won (approximately $221.5 million) to expand its annual production capacity from 40,000 tons to 150,000 tons, a more than threefold increase.
