Mammoet COO Jan Kleijn will leave the heavy lifting and transport company on 1 February 2027, ending a 30-year career with the business.
Kleijn joined Mammoet in operations and logistics before moving through a series of management roles. He became the company’s first employee to serve as CEO and subsequently took on the COO position in 2017.
In his current role, Kleijn has been part of Mammoet’s senior leadership as the company expanded its international heavy-lifting and transport activities.
With his decision, Kleijn is making place for a new generation of leaders. According to Mammoet, this reflects the same long-term mindset that has characterized his entire career.
Over the coming period, Mammoet’s Executive Board of Management will focus on ensuring a careful and effective transition of responsibilities to support continuity and future success.
