Investment
Pacifico Energy has declared more than $1b in investments for two offshore wind projects in South Korea.

The investment covers the 990MW Manho Offshore Wind Project and 1.8GW Jindo Baram Offshore Wind Project.
The declaration was submitted to South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources (MOTIR) at the U.S. Investment Ceremony in Washington, D.C., on 3 September.
It marks Pacifico Energy’s second investment declaration in South Korea, following its 2024 commitment for the 420MW Myeong Ryang Offshore Wind Project and a regional supply chain.
The two projects are part of Pacifico Energy Korea’s 3.2GW offshore wind cluster off Jindo County, which also includes Myeong Ryang Offshore Wind.
Myeong Ryang has secured its Electricity Business License and completed a preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment.
Manho and Jindo Baram were selected in August as the sole developers for the government-designated 2.13GW Jindo Phase 2 Offshore Wind Integrated Cluster.
Pacifico Energy said the projects will provide clean power for industries including semiconductors, AI data centres and cloud computing.
