Wind Energy
On 6 September 2026, DEME’s Norse Energi completed the installation of turbines at Iberdrola’s 315 MW Windanker offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea.

Installation began on 6 July and all 21 Siemens Gamesa SG 14-236 DD turbines were installed over the course of a 62-day campaign.
This equates to an average installation rate of one turbine every 2.95 days, or around 10 turbines per month.
Windanker is one of the first major projects for Norse Energi since it joined DEME’s fleet earlier this year.
After completing its work at Windanker, Norse Energi is scheduled to move directly onto the Hornsea 3 project in the UK North Sea. DEME has confirmed that this assignment is due to begin in Q3 2026.
Cadeler will also support turbine installation efforts on Hornsea 3 alongside DEME Group.
