Last transport of jacket foundations Dieppe Le Tréport

Saturday, July 4 2026

France

Seaway7 has completed the transportation of jacket foundations for the Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm.

The Seaway Albatross arrived in Cherbourg in June 2026 to complete the 13th and final delivery.

Delivered as a subcontract to DEME, the transportation played a key role in the development of the offshore wind farm located 15 km off the coast of Normandy.

During the campaign, 62 jacket foundations, each measuring approximately 50 metres in height and weighing around 1,150 tonnes, were transported from Fene, Spain, to Cherbourg, France.

From mobilisation in Bilbao to the final voyage, the campaign combined detailed engineering, careful planning, and consistent offshore execution – ensuring safe and efficient operations throughout all 13 transport cycles.
