General – ERRV
North Star has secured a multi-million-pound pipeline of North Sea emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV) contracts across 17 vessels in its fleet.

The awards represent approximately 50 years of combined contract duration.
The contracts, comprising of both new awards and renewals, were secured through a combination of competitive tender processes and contract extensions.
They reflect the strength of North Star’s long-standing relationships with offshore energy operators and demonstrate continued confidence in its ability to deliver critical safety services across the UK Continental Shelf.
At a time when the UK energy system is undergoing transition, the awards underline the continued importance of offshore infrastructure investment and the essential role of safety vessels in maintaining secure and stable energy production. ERRVs remain a fundamental part of offshore operations, ensuring that personnel working at sea are protected around the clock in some of the most challenging marine environments in the world.
North Star Chief Commercial Officer Michael Gordon said: “These awards are a reflection of the strength of our long-standing partnerships across the North Sea and the confidence our clients place in our ability to deliver safe and reliable offshore operations. This achievement has only been possible through the commitment and collaboration of our people across the business, both offshore and onshore, working closely with our clients and partners. I want to sincerely thank everyone involved for their professionalism, teamwork, and focus on safety. At its core, our role is to protect lives at sea. The dedication of our crews, supported by our shore-based teams, ensures we continue to meet that responsibility every day in some of the most demanding environments in the world.”
