General – China

On March 20, Guangdong COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry successfully completed sea trials of the 53.4-meter azimuth stern drive (ASD) tug N1246.

The vessel returned and berthed at the company’s No.5 quay after finishing testing operations in waters south of the Dangan Islands in the South China Sea.

The trials verified the tug’s overall performance and operational systems, marking another milestone before delivery.
