Boskalis secures decommissioning contract with Shell

Boskalis Subsea Services has won a major offshore decommissioning contract with Shell U.K.

This marks the first decommissioning-specific project the company will deliver for the operator.

Boskalis Subsea Services will undertake the removal of subsea infrastructure and associated remediation across a number of assets.

The works will be executed across more than 100 vessel days utilising the CSV Boka Northern Ocean.

The scope includes site surveys, removal and recovery of concrete mattresses, grout bags, pipelines, umbilicals, structures, remediation of piles, as well as targeted debris recovery activities.
