New deck carrier joins SAL fleet

With the acquisition of the heavy transport vessel MV Alma (formerly Sun Rise), SAL is further strengthening its capabilities in the specialised deck carrier segment.

Built in China in 2012, the semi-submersible vessel will expand SAL’s ability to handle complex offshore transports and floating cargo worldwide.

With her impressive deck space and semi-submersible capabilities, MV Alma (dwt 24,629t)is ideally suited for large-scale offshore and heavy transport projects – further expanding the range of solutions SAL can offer to clients across the globe.
