Wind Energy – Vietnam

Vingroup has proposed investing in a massive 3,000 MW offshore wind power plant off the coast of Cà Mau Province, Vietnam.

This project, aimed at boosting renewable energy and enabling electricity export, leverages Cà Mau’s extensive coastline and strong wind conditions.

It was presented during a meeting with the Cà Mau People’s Committee as part of broader strategic energy cooperation.

The 3 GW offshore wind farm would be one of the largest in Southeast Asia.
