Fossil Energy – Decommissioning
Netherlands-based HEBO has been awarded the contract for the full Engineering, Preparation, Removal and Disposal (EPRD) of the Wintershall Noordzee B.V. L5-C (Dutch Shelf) and Wingate (UK Shelf) gas production platforms.
The scope includes all hydrostatic and hydrodynamic engineering; the development of procedures and work packages; the offshore preparation of topsides and jackets (e.g., making safe, installing temporary steelwork, and subsea dredging and cutting operations); and the offshore removal and load-in of structures at the disposal yard.
This includes the full management of the project, from engineering to the final disposal of materials.
