Wind Energy – Inspection

GEOxyz has completed a full subsea inspection campaign at the Kincardine Floating Offshore Wind Farm, located 15 km off the coast of Aberdeen.

As one of the world’s largest floating offshore wind farms, Kincardine is pioneering floating wind technology, featuring five 9.5 MW turbines installed on semi-submersible foundations.

GEOxyz carried out an extensive ROV-based campaign in support of KOWL’s planned maintenance requirements.

The scope included inspection of 15 mooring lines, the survey of 5 inter-array cables as well as 2 export cables.
