Haewoori signs MoU with Sungdong

Wind Energy – Floating Wind Korea

Haewoori Offshore Wind, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ floating offshore wind project off the coast of Ulsan, Korea (1.5 GW) is happy to announce that they signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HSG Sungdong to collaborate in the substructure (floater) sector.

Under this MOU, Haewoori Offshore Wind and HSG Sungdong plan to establish a partnership to explore opportunities to optimize the fabrication of floating foundations to reduce the cost of floating offshore wind in Korea.
