Wind Energy – Floating Substructures
BOA announced the successful launch of three floating substructures for the EOLMED Offshore Wind Project.

The scope of work included full engineering support, project management, and all marine operations, delivering the floating structures to their designated quay. The operations were carried out using the semi-submersible barge BOABARGE 35 and the ASD tug BOA Brage with the support of local tugs following a load-out operation managed by Sarens.
The Eolmed Floating Offshore Windfarm, located off the coast of Gruissan, France, will consist of three 10 MW wind turbines.
This project represents a significant step forward in France’s renewable energy ambitions and in advancing floating offshore wind in the Mediterranean.
