As of this week, Parkwind is officially part of JERA Nex bp – a newly established global offshore wind company formed as a 50:50 joint venture between JERA Co., Inc. and bp.
With the strength of two world-leading energy companies behind us, JERA Nex bp is here to accelerate the delivery of clean, secure, and affordable offshore wind energy at scale.
The joint venture aims to accelerate the energy transition across key markets in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and beyond, backed by up to USD5.8 billion in committed investments through 2030. Combining the expertise and assets of both companies will establish a potential net generating capacity of 13 GW.
