Cross-license agreement Sif Group

Wind Energy – Parkwind

Together with Parkwind the Dutch Sif Group has signed a cross-license agreement for both the Sif Skybox and Parkwind Boxed Platform IP.

This allows Sif and Parkwind to exchange specific patented IP.

It enables Sif to use the Parkwind patented Boxed Platform technology for its Skybox TP-less and boat landing-less access platform based on an ‘all-in-one lift’ slip-joint installation.

This has already been deployed by Parkwind in the windfarms Northwester 2 and Arcadis Ost 1.

The Boxed Platform is a lightweight steel platform placed next to the existing Skybox concrete platform as an alternative. This means that Skybox customers with TP-less designs now have 2 options to choose from: a concrete or a boxed steel Skybox platform.
