ZTTSC wins 500kV submarine cable contract

Wind Energy – Submarine Cable

ZTT Submarine Cable has secured a 500kV submarine cable EPCI contract for Shenzhen Energy’s Honghai Bay VI project.

This is a pioneering 500 MW offshore wind development off the eastern coast of Guangdong, China.

The contract encompasses 94 km of 500kV 3-core HVAC submarine cables to connect wind turbines located more than 30 km offshore, with delivery scheduled for February 2026.

This project sets a new benchmark for deployment and advances China’s next-generation offshore energy infrastructure.
