LS Cable & System has completed construction of its fifth submarine cable plant in Donghae City, Gangwon Province, significantly boosting its production capabilities.
With this expansion, the company’s capacity to produce high-voltage direct current (HVDC) submarine cables has increased more than four times compared to previous levels.
The new facility is equipped with an advanced vertical continuous vulcanization (VCV) line, enhancing both production efficiency and supply reliability.
LS Cable & System now operates the largest HVDC cable production facility in Asia, strengthening its position in the global market for large-scale submarine cable projects.
