Wind Energy – Load Out
According to a post by Robert Koens, Tennet’s project lead, the load out operation of the topside for Hollandse Kust (west Beta) substation has been completed.
Over the past months, the entire team has worked tirelessly on the system integration tests and commissioning of this massive feat of steel and engineering.
Following the load out, the topside (4,000+ tons) is now secured on the barge and ready for sea fastening. The sail away is scheduled for later this month.
Next stop: approximately 50 km off the coast of Egmond aan Zee, where the offshore installation on the jacket will be carried out by the Sleipnir.
