Friday, March 21 2025

Fossil Energy – Vietnam

Singapore-based oil and gas development company Jadestone Energy has submitted a plan to state-controlled PetroVietnam to jointly develop two offshore gas fields in southwest Vietnam.

The proposal includes drilling two wells in the Nam Du and U Minh fields to support a plateau gas production rate of 80 million standard cubic feet a day.

Nam Du and U Minh are located in shallow waters of 50 to 60 metres in the Block 46/07 and Block 51 PSCs offshore south-west Vietnam.

Jadestone operates the two permits with 100% working interests.
