KOWEPO teams up with RWE for 495 MW OWF project in South Korea

Wind Energy – South Korea

On November 14, Korea Western Power (KOWEPO) and RWE Offshore Wind signed a MoU to develop the 495 MW Taean Seohae Offshore Wind Farm Project jointly.

The wind farm is planned to be built about 45 kilometers off the coast of Taean, South Korea.

Before this, in March, RWE successfully secured an Electricity Business License (EBL) for the project, the German energy company’s first EBL in South Korea.
