General – TWD signs MoU

TWD and SPEC Engineering have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on a pioneering R&D program issued by Korean Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP).

The goal of this program is to advance engineering research on cost-effective and environmentally sustainable pre-piling methods, specifically suction or pin pile foundations for jacket structures.

Under the agreement, TWD will provide consultancy services and engage in design and engineering works as part of the consortium spearheading the KETEP R&D program. As the consortium prepares to submit its proposal to KETEP within the next two months, the collaboration between TWD and SPEC stands as a testament to a global effort to push the sustainable solution forward.

TWD Business Developer for Korea & Japan, Paul Schoenmakers, stated: “We are thrilled to partner with SPEC Engineering on this R&D program. By combining our strengths and expertise, we aim to deliver cutting-edge solutions that will not only enhance efficiency but also contribute to sustainable engineering methods.”
