Fossil Energy – Decommissioning

Yesterday, Decommissioning Manager Arnout van der Pol at TotalEnergies announced that the Matador 3, owned by Bonn & Mees Rotterdam, removed the L7N topside to bring it safely back to Den Helder.

Following a 3-month preparation campaign this spring, it is the first heavy lift of the L7 project.

TotalEnergies had to wait for the windy summer to calm down, but her patience is rewarded.
