Joint office for CIP in Cape Town

Friday, June 23 2023

General – South Africa

A new investment for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and a new chapter in South Africa.

Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, the South African Ambassador to Denmark, Fikile Magubane, and the Danish ambassador to South Africa, Tobias Elling Rehfeld, cut the ribbons with CIP partner, Niels Holst, at CIP’s new joint office with Mulilo Energy Holdings in Cape Town.

Mulilo has one of South Africa’s strongest pipelines of renewable projects under development, and this will allow CIP to make a positive contribution to the green transition, renewables expertise, and create growth and local employment in South Africa.

After the opening ceremony the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, stressed the importance of this partnership and investment.
