Wind Energy – 2030 Target US

The Biden administration has targeted deploying 30GW of offshore wind by 2030.

Here are all the upcoming Offshore Windfarms on the east and the west coasts of the US.

The pipeline of the projects is massive but the industry faces huge challenges like supply chain & infrastructure, equipment manufacturing, dedicated offshore wind ports and assembly yards, SOVs, bigger Installation Vessels (IVs), experienced workforce, local laws like Jones Act, onshore transmission network capabilities, etc.

Support from European and Asian industries is fundamental to reach the goal of 30GW in 2030.
