UK oilfield services provider OneSubsea has signed a contract with Brazilian independent Enauta to manufacture and supply the entire subsea system that will serve the Atlanta full field development in the Santos basin.
The Schlumberger-owned subsidiary will be in charge of a broad scope of subsea work, which will include a combined solution covering subsea processing systems, subsea production systems and subsea trees.
In recent years, OneSubsea has supplied Enauta with four subsea trees, along with installation services, to enable an early production system at the Atlanta deep-water field with the Petrojarl I floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
“The lessons learned from this system are paramount to us and we have the opportunity to apply them to the full field development,” said Enauta chief operating officer Carlos Mastrangelo.
OneSubsea will carry out engineering work and the acquisition of long lead items related to the Atlanta project using it local facility in the municipality of Taubate, in Sao Paulo state, as well as its plant in Bergen, in Norway.
