Wind Energy – Poland
The Polish energy company, PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna, is looking for engineering design services related to the two offshore wind projects with a combined capacity of 2.5 GW: Baltica 2 and Baltica 3.
The subject of the ordinance includes, among other things, the preparation of the Building Permit Projects pursuant to the Construction Law, consisting of a Territorial Master Plan, Architectural Building Project, Technical Project, all the requested opinions, agreements, appraisals and permits, except those that will be prepared and provided by PGE.
The contract covers offshore substations, wind turbines and turbine foundations and inter-array cables. The contract does not cover the transmission system packages.
The scope of the contract is divided into two lots: lot 1 for Baltica 2 and lot 2 for Baltica 3.
The call remains open until January 31, 2022.
PGE is developing Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 through a 50/50 joint venture with Ørsted.
The Baltica 3 wind farm with an installed capacity of 1,045 MW will be commissioned in 2027 and the closing of the financing for this investment is scheduled for 2023.
The Baltica 2 wind farm with a capacity of 1,498 MW will be commissioned in 2028 and the closing of the financing for this investment is scheduled for 2024.
