Wind energy – Saint-Brieuc
London-based engineering consultancy SLPE announced that its specialist has completed the design scope for the offshore substation for Saint-Brieuc Offshore Wind Farm.

This is the first large-scale offshore wind farm in Brittany, which has achieved certification approval from Lloyd’s Register.
“SLPE was brought on board to deliver the detailed primary and secondary steel design for the jacket sub-structure and pile foundations,” said Samuel L., Head of OSS Substructures at SLPE. “It has been a pleasure overseeing this project and I am proud of everyone who has been involved – we have worked to deliver excellence at every opportunity”.
Construction of the substation is ongoing and due to be installed in the spring of 2022.
