Equinor signs new agreements in Azerbaijan

Statoil Azerbaijan (part of the Equinor group) and Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR have signed a Risk Service Agreement (RSA) related to the appraisal and development of Karabagh oilfield and a Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) for the Ashrafi, Dan Ulduzu, Aypara area.

Name change Statoil approved

Equinor ASA, the new name of Statoil ASA, was approved by the annual general meeting yesterday, 15 May 2018, and the new name has now been registered in the Norwegian register of business enterprises.
