China’s state oil and gas major Sinopec Corp said on Monday it has signed Heads of Agreement to buy from TotalEnergies two million metric tons of liquefied natural gas a year for 15 years starting 2028.

TotalEnergies supplies 1.25 million tons per year to CNOOC until 2034

NFE gets customs ruling for Altamira FLNG project

US Customs and Border Protection has issued a ruling confirming that the transportation of LNG produced at New Fortress Energy’s FLNG facility located offshore Altamira, Mexico by non-US qualified vessels would not violate the Jones Act.

The Haisla Nation and Pembina Pipeline Corporation (Pembina), partners in the development of the proposed Cedar LNG Project, today announced Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) and Black & Veatch have been selected to provide engineering, procurement and construction for the design, fabrication and delivery of the Project’s floating LNG production unit (FLNG).
