In line with its renewables business model, TotalEnergies has signed an agreement with Thailand’s national oil and gas company PTTEP for the sale of a 25.5% equity stake in the Seagreen offshore wind farm for a consideration of £522 million ($689 million).

SSE Renewables and its partner TotalEnergies have announced all 114 Vestas V164-10.0 MW turbines at the 1.1GW Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm off the coast of Scotland are now fully operational and are generating clean, renewable energy to Britain’s power grid.

Seagreen Wind Farm, a joint venture between SSE Renewables and TotalEnergies, achieved another landmark this week as the 114th and final wind turbine was installed.
Seagreen is Scotland’s largest offshore wind farm and is located 27km from the Angus coast.
Once fully operational, Seagreen will be capable of generating around 5,000GWh of renewable energy annually – enough clean and sustainable electricity to power more than 1.6m UK homes.
Seaway7 has completed the full engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) cables scope on the Seagreen wind farm offshore Scotland, a joint venture project between SSE Renewables and TotalEnergies.
