Aker Horizons has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Statkraft, Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy, securing a significant amount of the renewable power required for its large-scale green ammonia plant under development in Narvik, northern Norway.

Cadeler enters Polish offshore wind market

This morning, Cadeler signed a firm contract with Baltic Power for the transportation and installation of 76 Vestas 15MW offshore wind turbines in the Polish Baltic Sea with a contract value of between 68-85 million EUR.

BP and Ørsted have resolved a dispute over an overlapping zone in the UK North Sea between the BP-led Endurance carbon capture project and the Danish firm’s planned Hornsea 4 windfarm, the companies said in a letter published by UK authorities.
