Ørsted has signed an agreement with Cathay Life Insurance, the leading insurance company in Taiwan, and its affiliate Cathay Wind Power Holdings, under which Cathay Life Insurance will acquire a 50 % ownership share of Ørsted’s 583 MW Greater Changhua 4 Offshore Wind Farm.

Greater Changhua OWF achieves carbon reduction of 830,000 MT

Wind Energy – Taiwan

Ørsted announced on January 30 that the 900 MW Greater Changhua 1 and 2a offshore wind farms has generated clean electricity equivalent to reducing 830,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions since the first turbine was connected to the grid in April 2022.
