Empire Offshore Wind LLC (Empire), a subsidiary of Equinor ASA, has been notified by the Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) that the stop work order for the Empire Wind project has been lifted, permitting construction activities to resume.

Dominion Energy recently provided several updates for the Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project and revealed that the cost of the 176-turbine project has gone up by around 9%.
