Principle Power, a provider of floating foundation solutions for the floating wind industry, said Tuesday it had expanded its WindFloat product portfolio to two fully industrialized products: the existing WindFloat tubular – now called WindFloat T – and the new flat panel, pontoon-based solution, known as the WindFloat F.

China’s Bomesc to build Qatar offshore oil, gas facility

China’s Bomesc Offshore Engineering Company on Thursday signed a $220 million deal to develop an offshore oil and gas project in Qatar with Servizi Energia Italia, a subsidiary of Saipem, the Italian multinational oil field services provider.

Yesterday, TenneT, together with Siemens Energy, Hitachi Energy, GE Grid and Royal SMIT, has signed a framework agreement worth 1.9 billion euros for the supply of 110 compensation coils and 160 power transformers destined for Germany and the Netherlands.
