Cranes

Huisman has been awarded a contract by Siem Industries to deliver 400mt knuckle boom cranes and 50mt knuckle boom cranes for two new OSVs.

Both vessels are currently under construction at Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding in Fuzhou, China.

The scope of supply includes two 400-tonne knuckle boom cranes with a below-deck winch, as well as two 50-tonne auxiliary cranes with deepwater capabilities.

Designed for demanding offshore operations, the knuckle boom cranes combine a robust design with a high lifting capacity and advanced handling capabilities.

These features are intended to support efficient and reliable offshore lifting operations while providing the versatility required for a wide range of subsea and offshore construction activities.
