Oil Supply
The United Arab Emirates will supply Indonesia with up to 30 million barrels of oil, the head of upstream regulator SKK Migas, Djoko Siswanto.
He said this on 27 October after a meeting with UAE Ambassador Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri in Jakarta, Reuters reported.
Djoko said Indonesia can draw on the supply at any time, but he declined to give more details on delivery timing.
He did not detail the deal structure, financing, schedule or what the cost waiver covers, and the UAE embassy in Jakarta did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
The meeting also covered progress towards a final investment decision on the Andaman block gas project off Aceh.
