EPC Contract

NMDC Energy has been awarded offshore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects worth $763 million by Saudi Aramco.

The company expects the projects to take 18 to 23 months to complete and gave no further details.

On 22 October, Upstream reported that Aramco had awarded at least five offshore maintenance and brownfield projects, worth up to a total of $2.5 billion, to two international contractors for work on several oil and gas fields in Saudi Arabia. The company did not say whether its projects are among them.

The contractor has worked on several Aramco projects under a long-term agreement signed in 2016. In April 2025 it signed a three-year extension, with an option for a further three years, covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, installation and pre-commissioning of offshore facilities in Saudi waters.
